“To Ripen is to advance to the point of optimum condition”
Ripen Health clients are athletes of life; because we are all training for something……
Ripen Health clinicians are in the business of changing lives; adapting current research and practice to provide progressive and tailored advice through the expertise of Accredited Practising Dietitians (APD).
At Ripen Health we believe in analysis of the client as a whole. Whether you be a busy parent, a weekend warrior, an aspiring competitor or an elite athlete, the fundamentals of nutrition are universally applicable. As experts in nutrition we dedicate our time to ensuring the fundamentals are present and leverage off this base to individualize the best nutrition strategy for your health and lifestyle needs.
Eat: Over the course of ones life, the average person spends 6 years and 10 months eating. There are few other things in life that afford us so much potential time for enjoyment. At Ripen Health, we aim to supply a high level of service and education to empower the individual to enjoy their food experience, make the right food choices and embrace their positive lifestyle.
To quote Michael Pollan:
“Eat food. Not too much. Mostly Plants.”
Learn: The ‘Ripening’ Process is a journey of learning. We aim to educate and empower the individual on how to achieve their nutritional and lifestyle goals, whilst still balancing outside factors and feeling great in the process.
Inspire: At Ripen Health, we are motivated to inspire our clients and in turn be inspired by them. Inspiration is in the process and we work to encourage our clients to share it with those around them, adapting into an exciting lifestyle with positive and sustainable change.
Eliza grew up wanting to be a chef, nagging anyone that would listen to spend the weekend supervising her in the kitchen cooking until she was old enough to be unleashed on unsuspecting cupboard ingredients on her own. This love for food broadened over the years as Eliza’s experience in competitive sport grew and food became a tool for performance. It was from this that stemmed a desire to be a sports dietitian, to help others realise their full potential through maximising their nutritional intake. These days if Eliza isn’t facing down the barrel of a wave with her fellow surf boat rowers at Bondi SLSC, you will find her chewing the fat on all things sports nutrition, food sustainability & local produce.
